And then it finally came. After having explored Nose Hill Park and heading towards down town Calgary - foot said "enough" and I had to walk back home. Spring ligament issue or plantar or both. Too much running, hiking and activities since I twisted my ankle I suppose.

Morning run on the Galloping Goose Trail in Victoria. Very tired. Foot not good. Legs stiff. Blääää

Did a few lanes while kids were playing in the pools.


Imagine Hamilton having a rec centre like this...wave pool, lane swimming, whirl pool, steam sauna, hot sauna, lanes, diving boards, two long slides. All for $2.50.

Evening run in Port Alberni. Found some nice bike trails.


Spent most of the day in Tofino. Went sea kayaking this morning. Respect for currents. Spent 5 minutes in the same spot, to the big amusement for the rest of the party. Especially since my kayak partner Lia repeatedly was calling out "we are not going anywhere!"
