Last weekend's race was supposed to be the kick off for some good training but that never materialized so the goal today was to get a long ride in to finally get a good time to log. Especially with bad weather coming tomorrow and on a school trip next week, today would have to be the day. It was a clse call though. I biked with Adria for the first hour and the dark clouds were getting closer and closer. We biked York, Snake, Patterson, Rock Chapel and back to Cootes Dr to Main. On my own, I decided to go west since back north looked like it could be a wet ride so headed out Wilson. Caught up a rider who was on his way to Brantford to Toronto and we climbed the hill together. I continued along Jerseyville to Lynden and then over a concession and then back to Jerseyville via 52. Had to stop at Starbucks 15 min from home to refill water bottle because I hadn't though about anything else but water for the last half hour. Got home 5 min before the rain started to pour down.

No ARK so no running there. I thought I would be able to squeeze in a bike session after Isak's soccer game but I didn't know they play 2 x 45 this year so all in all - when opportunity finally came, I was too tired.

A bit quicker pace. Need to increase the quality of these sessions.

Let see if we can get some more training in this week. There will be little running however due to sore right knee.

W: easy running during ARK
Th: bike or roller skiing
F: Fridays are always hard but aiming for some biking
Sa: a run if knee allows
Su: ride
