Skiing (classic) 2:45:00 [2]

Skiing (skating) 45:00 [2]

Beauty day at Highlands. A bit cold the first couple of k's but when the sun came over the trees it was just great. Did all red x 2 (not Woolner second time) and then orange (not double d) before heading down.

Session two meant testing my new skate skis for the first time. I was tired now so I really needed those new, light and fast, skis.

Running 55:00 [2]

Skiing (skating) 45:00 [3]

BT, golf course and Rez stairs with Isak before heading up to the Rez for some skiing. Good conditions for the latter!

Indoor biking 1:00:00 [2]

Time flew away today so no ski but at least an evening spin, catching up on the last Bridge season. New season starts after the New Year.

Skiing (classic) 1:01:00 [2]

Skiing (skating) 30:00 [2]

I like these temps! Classic on the rail trail to the highway and back. There were no tracks so it was more old school kind of skiing. Finished off with skating at the top of the Rez.

Running 55:00 [3]

Lots of new snow to pack down so it was up to the Rez again and pack it down!

Running 45:00 intensity: (20:00 @1) + (25:00 @4)

Prime number intervals with Isak. I saw Robbie A. did this the other day week so this was a ctrl v + p training although we started at 7 and not 11. 7-5-3-2 with 2 min rest between. The first one took us pretty much exactly from the Beddoe townhouses to Fortino's parking lot. Turned around and the last one finished just past Chedoke Ave. Not full speed, more threshold pace.

Skiing (classic) 1:51:00 [2]

First real ski for the season. Classic at Highland. The first 10 min were tough but I eventually got into a rhythm. Back red was a bit thin in places, the conditions were otherwise good. I got really, really tired at the end. Probably the effect of the long cold I had.
