Isak (and I) are trying to become a bit faster so we found a 400m program online we will try to follow as much as we can and with some modifications. Workouts should be done on track ideally, but sometimes, like today, the rail trail will have to do. 6 x 250m every 2.5 minutes. Short distance and lots of rest but this was all out and I got really, really tired. 4-5 min of Frankensteps at the Rez stairs after.
First classic for the year. Surprisingly, the pace didn't pick up until Tiffany's and I quickly struggled to keep up. Managed to find a few people at the back to ride with just past Rosseaux and pace was excellent.
First race Wed. Warm up as usual to Dundurn and then go. Joined the last group, not that I had any other option, but pace was perfect and fast enough for moi.
