Skiing (Skating) 51:00 [2] 11.28 km (4:31 / km) +267m 4:03 / km

Warm up/pre-ski of course. Long time ago I was at Mono. Did one race here in the early 2000's and the sprint at the famous COCs a few years after that. It is a really neat area and people in Oville are pretty lucky to have something like this. Did two loops of the course because I wanted to get as much ski in as possible as well.

11 AM

Skiing (Skating) 38:00 [4] 10.63 km (3:34 / km) +261m 3:11 / km

Race time. Interval start. Struggled a bit to get into a good rhythm, guess lack of any kind of speed work on skis is the cause, and I felt a bit awkward and tense but kept working as hard as I could. Skis were good and overall conditions were good too.

Skiing (Skating) 21:00 [2] 3.91 km (5:22 / km) +123m 4:38 / km

Cool down. So much nicer to ski in a pace like this. Skiing is too fun to race really.

X-league at Nelson. New area so I had to check it out. Teamed up with Lia and we had a great time. Got stuck in/around the creek a couple of times and made a questionable route choice on the long leg but still managed to get them all except one.
