orienteering race 48:32 [5] 4.0 km (12:08 / km)

had a great start to the race and the 1st 2 km were really fast i was navigating at 4.08min/ks but then it got into the bush bit and got really dark and i forgot my lamp so i got completly lost. had no clue were i went but eventually found mark and tagged along with him for the rest of the bush legs.

not too happy with how that went

did about 3 - 5 controls then brake...each interval was about 4 minutes each and then 1minute recovery. did this course in november and did about 19 minutes so very happy with how iam improving. now i actually have a coach iam lookng forward to some more high intensity training.

this is the best time i did for the springfield loop without riding in a pack. i started riding with the pack at the start but then chris and i just took off on them and chris flew off infront of me. averaged 31 going out and 30.6 coming back so was pretty good average considering the wind.

had a pretty shitty ride out to springfeild after work just cuz the head wind but on the way back with chris we averaged like 34 :) so was great

hill intervals on the bike.

did 1min intervals with ride down recovery which was only like 20-30 seconds at most so was really tuff especially for me but had an awosme ride

was pretty good run but i couldnt go as hard as i wanted in the bits good bits cuz the ground was so washed out and uneven and it was so dark...the bits that were on concrete and were lit up were awsome and i felt great :D

7x5minute efforts :)

did the 2 during the day but it was way too hot so i stopped and then did them late at night...felt soo much better :) and made sure i was HYDRATED!

i was only going to do 6 originaly but on my last 1 i saw mark and got him to try 1 of the loops to see how far in the 5mins he could get. everytime i was around about the same area...about 1.6km each time

just a moderate long run in the rain...wanted more but the rain was getting way to heavy. it started to hurt so i stoped

started out pretty average. had a pretty good warm up since i been worried about my muscled i pulled and didnt wanna do it again so i been trying to warm up properly now. we had a awsome loop too had some awosme hills and some nice fast flat bits too but cuz the rain the grassy bits SUCKED!

the second interval was the fastest and felt real fast. except for the flat bit i think i could have gone faster but up the hills was definatly the fastest. i saw mark near the top and wanted to catch him on the last hill and just got him :)

the last interval i thought was going to be faster all the way until the end..had the worst last hill i was soo tired going up but meh good session
