| Irish Orienteering Relay Championship - Ran first leg for Corko and had a battle with dave Healy and Nick Simonon all the way around, made slight mistake early on losing 30 seconds to them but took a bettwer route to 6 and could have got away had I concentrated better on my approach and took on board what was said in the talks the previous night about keeping head up and looking ahead! So hesitation meant the three of us finished within 20 seconds - me at the rear! Colm ran well to keep us in it and Magic needs to get out and train harder so we could now call ourselves irish champions! Shame about the poor gaffling. Both competitive teams had the same gaffle. |

| Irish Orienteering Classic Championships, Bear Island - 5th (Magic 1st in 78mins) Legs not strong enough - physical tiredness led to mental fatigue led to some mistakes about three to four minutes in total. Wwould have got fourth at best. |
