Grrrr! Garmin died in the first few minutes, must have let it running after yesterday. So then was completely and utterly without technology, not even my normal watch (so time is estimated). I knew where the 3 mi turn-around was though, so aimed for that and did 5 'Digby's on the way there and back.

Digby = 30 second all-out effort with ample recovery. Supposed to be surprisingly good for aerobic adaptation of muscles, according to my dad's friend Digby, an exercise physiology researcher up here in Canada.

Around Havercamps' Island. Windy, although not quite as bad as yesterday, but way more boats out, wakes all over the place from all directions! Glad it's a tubby scull, totally would have flipped in a racing one!
