Crosstrainer 23:00 [1]

Morning super-elliptical. Did three Yosemite hikes. The fall semester is getting into gear around Reed, it's strange to be not prepping any courses while everyone else is...

Prenatal yoga. Not as good a workout as last time, more chatting at the beginning with more people. Pregnant buddy from Reed was there, nice to catch up!

Crosstrainer 24:00 [1]

Aw, pretty sure elliptical nemesis saw me going down to the locker room and so chose one of the normal ellipticals for himself. Maybe nemesis isn't the right word... Finished the Utah hikes, onto Yosemite.

Crosstrainer 23:00 [1]

3 Utah segments hikes, also did some reading of a grant proposal about revamping intro science here at Reed.

Hiking 7:00 [1]

Yup, more stairmill at 68 spm. Glad I haven't had to lower that rate at least over the past few weeks!

Crosstrainer 14:00 [1]

Little super-elliptical pre-pilates. First two Utah hikes.

Strength 45:00 [1]

Pilates. More matwork, so less I could really do. Last session I'll make it to - next week is off and it's not worth me buying a pass for the fall to possibly make it to one or two final sessions...

Hiking 2:30:00 [1] 7.2 mi (20:50 / mi) +430m 17:34 / mi

Whoa!!! It rained in Portland!! It's been two months? Two and a half? Not sure, but a looooong time.

So the rain was refreshing. And I'm sure my plants are happy. Maybe the grass will think about turning green again.

Anyways, we headed out for the intended hike anyways, a loop around the Larch Mountain crater. Normally it probably has awesome views from a few places, including the hard-to-weather core of the volcano, Sherrard Point. But today, visibility was maybe 50ft, so no views.
