Better than the last event...but not by much! Felt wet and miserable about halfway round when, again, I struggled to orienteer my way out of a paperbag. Next time...!!

It was Dad's 60th birthday party in the evening and if I had to be stuck in the kitchen for another hour I was going to explode so I had to venture out into the cold to get some fresh air!

Feeling a bit more relaxed at the new gym. The new programme seems to be helping open up my shoulders a bit more too.

Decided to set it on level 7 so my arms didn't fall off! Probably a good call.

Boring but I thought I ought to protect my knee and foot at present so I'm all good on Sunday.

That's my 2nd best time I think but looking at the average speed to beat the 9 minute mark is rather daunting.

Learning the Mohawk 2-foot turn. Very confusing concept and so far I end up going the wrong direction when I change feet (but it sorta works when I'm at the wall trying it out!).

Had to hand my skates in for sharpening afterwards...I always feel anxious about handing them over to someone else...they're like my babies!!
