Up to the Domain and round about with all the usual hills. I felt a bit broken! Had intended to go for longer but after a serve lack of sleep and ice skating afterwards there was no way that was going to happen.

Tackling the busy Sunday afternoon session with Jono, breaking in his new hockey skates. It was great practice for reflexes dodging all the kids and wild cards (although I did manage to bowl one kid over and come close to a few more collisions but not as bad as Jono). The ice was like judder bars when we got there (and patches of blood which is always amusing) but once the zamboni had been through it was all good.

Feeling decidedly seedy this morning. I didn't really need a warm up since I'd walked to the gym but I needed to get rid of a few cobwebs!

I was still feeling stiff so the stretches felt nearly impossible...but so good.

Still feeling stiff after skating but it was fun moving faster than the traffic crawling its way along Shore Road. But I got all the wrong lights at the top of the hill so had to stand around for ages to cross. Even more branches had fallen down in the Domain and the tracks were fairly slippery (and I'm always paranoid of falling and breaking something...I blame the bone specialist for turning me so paranoid).

Where did THAT come from? I've never got under 9 minutes and that's a good 30 seconds faster than Monday and I wasn't even feeling that great this morning.

Today was all round freezing which for some strange reason always means the ice rink feels even more cold (it always feels warmest...if that's actually possible...in summer even though it's indoors and kept to a certain temperature...weird). Anyway, I had trouble warming up which kind of showed in my botched attempts at anything remotely technical. Not so much my night but still great fun.

A very dark morning and I nearly fell down the steps just outside our front door 'cause I couldn't see a thing (now that would have made a stunning start). Other than that it was a great run and some good, tough hills. The sun was eventually making it's way up by the time I got back!

My legs were feeling a bit stiff from yesterday so I wanted to get them moving a little bit without anything too strenuous.
