MTB 25:00 [3] 8.0 km (3:08 / km)
shoes: Skulls

Round and up OTH with Jono. My arse hurts from yesterday and I felt exhausted. At least it got me out doing something.

MTB (mtb) 4:30:00 [3]
shoes: Skulls

Round Woodhill (umm, several times in places) while Jono was on the mtb course. I didn't fall off (so I walked anything that looked too scary which didn't happen to be that much so I was proud) and it was actually kind of fun for once - perhaps having no pressure to keep up or something.

Run 50:58 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Late morning team run with Jono, Cameron and Ee round OTH. Mostly hanging with Ee and keeping him coming especially on the hills so fairly cruisy but he's doing so well. It was so hot. BBQ afterwards made it all worthwhile.

Yay for rest days and claypot :)

Orienteering race (SS Mangere Mountain) 1:10:20 [4] **** 5.9 km (11:55 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

The most physically demanding Summer Series event I've ever done (and right now I'm thinking hopefully the most that I ever have to do!). I seriously considered quitting until I discovered there were no real shortcuts back to the finish by that stage! Felt absolutely awful out there. Did I mention I managed to get lost (okay, momentarily misplaced) and mistook a rather large hill for a rather large depression? Hopeless!

Run 54:31 [3] 9.4 km (5:48 / km)
(injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Round OTH and up to the summit via the dirt track twice for good measure. Running was better than Saturday but still not great. Legs were feeling completely dead after spin last night though so it was a slow slog!

Peloton (Spin) class 1:00:00 [4]
(injured) shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Evening class with Janelle back from holiday at last. Very tough (especially since my stomach was only just on recovery from earlier in the day - perhaps I was a little optimistic). In general bruising is feeling better but everything is still sore to the touch.
