Tough work.

More tough work. Legs feeling like total jelly even just trying to walk the 5 minutes back to the apartment (and then up the stairs - now they were real hard work!).

From the apartment round One Mile Creek Loop Track which dumps you out at Fernhill with no signs to the town link track so not much of a loop track. Luckily I found the link track back in the end though. Didn't realise the track was gonna go so high - ended up in amongst some snow - cool! Was an awesome run. Luckily I was wearing my offroad shoes 'cause it was pretty slippery especially up in the ice. Fog was over the lake today so the views were mainly of the mountains above the fog but still awesome.

Although I used all my usual settings it felt easier which would explain the way faster time - the rower was a different brand than at my gym so yeah, maybe that's it. The rowers look right across the lake and towards the Remarkables. Makes working out way cool.

At the Queenstown Gym. Thought it might be nice to get amongst people and it was quite fun. Most people are very friendly. Was able to do my usual program with only a couple of modifications. Nice facilities and cool to have a casual entry (bought 3 for my stay).

'cause my legs were feeling a little wobbly after gyming. Again, you get an awesome view from the treadmill.

Along the track to Sunshine Bay and back. Stopped at the bay with the excuse of stretching but really just to enjoy the view. Once I'd warmed up it wasn't that cold at all. Everyone you pass smiles and says hello...makes you smile back.

Felt so slow and my thighs were feeling really heavy and sluggish. Got a bit wet but it was warm out this morning. Felt good to be outside though.

So tired and didn't feel all that good so was pretty impressed at my speed and even more impressed that it's my fastest time yet! Now that made me smile.
