MTB (mtb) 2:30:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Second clips experience and rather miraculously didn't have a fall (although there were some very close calls and a nice ride into a fence!). Went all the way out to the far end and cruised around there. Awesome day. Legs felt good. I felt good. Yeah. How that happens on 3 hours of sleep I don't know but I suspect it will all catch up with me tomorrow and I'll crash again.

Walk 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 3

With Mum round my old haunts of Bucklands and Eastern Beaches.

Peloton (Spin) class intervals 45:00 [5]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Everything feels tired and my arm still hurts from climbing but it was a good class and didn't feel too bad. Always a good way to vent off a bit of steam.

Run (treadmill) 20:00 [4]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Set my alarm for super early in the hope it wouldn't be raining and I could run to and from class but it was pouring and I didn't really feel like getting wet so just had a run on the treadmill afterwards. Did some incline stuff to mix it up. Legs felt quite a lot better afterwards (tired but not so stiff and achey).

Gym - Cardio warm up/down (Summit trainer) 10:00 [3]

Figured the rower wasn't a good option for my arm so settled on one of the less sucky cardio machines for my warmup.

Gym (weights and core) 1:15:00 [3]

All my muscles still feel rather shaky from last night especially my fingers and forearms. So worth it though.

Wednesday Dec 2, 2009 #

Run warm up/down (treadmill) 22:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

10 minute warmup, 12 minute warm down.

Run intervals (treadmill) 20:00 [5]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Same as usual but with no incline 'cause I didn't really have anything there.

Note

Need to rest, need to sleep, need to eat but am too anxious. Really hope this feeling passes soon.

Climbing (indoor - TR) 2:30:00 [4]
shoes: Red Chili Spirit Lady

With Chris at Extreme Edge. We both started off shockingly and almost got defeated by a 15 which was highly embarrassing but sucked it up and got to the top. But we both totally redeemed ourselves by both somehow shockingly conquering the purple 21 and then the blue 20 that's made for super tall people on the slab. Was buzzing out after that which kind of made me forget about the rest of my life and how much my arm hurt. It's very hot in there though...I hate to think what the middle of summer is going to be like.

Orienteering race (SS One Tree Hill) 54:12 [3] 6.9 km (7:51 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 4

Felt terribly sluggish and tired the whole way which wasn't really surprising since I'd barely slept or ate. At least my brain was concentrating although there was a bit of a home turf advantage since I'd see where the control was on the map and knew pretty much exactly where that was. Bet Allan and Owen despite my distinct lack of speed. That's a positive I guess.

Peloton (Spin) class intervals 45:00 [5]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Wish I felt normal today. At least I had energy although I don't know where that came from.

Gym (core and stretches) 25:00 [3]
