Note

Was going to go mountain biking with Andy and co but didn't hear from them and was feeling pretty tired anyway so just caught up on a few things. Walked to and from St Lukes and Harvest in the blazing sun and made vegan cheese 'cause I'm awesome like that.

9 AM

Run 44:12 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

Down to the lake and round with my nice little detours then through to Jaggers Bush and up, down to Cox Bay Reserve, through the mangrove and then back up home again. Either the Meola loop I missed out takes longer than I thought or I was running faster than it felt like...I'm pretty sure it wasn't the running faster since I felt like a snail. Was just glad I could run though since I've been feeling so weird lately.
11 AM

Road Bike 30:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

To and from the gym. Some dude tried to pass me at the lights (he got there just as they turned green whereas I'd been sitting there for a while) but he got shown who was boss.

Yoga 55:00 [2]

Gerald was back taking the class today...he's awesome.

MTB 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Thought I'd cruise back over to Albany and give the tracks another, more decent go (well, get on the tracks we didn't go on). It is a bloody maze out there! It's all very well to have these out signs but even once you're following them it can still take forever and once on the Westie trail I thought I might be stuck in there forever 'cause there were no signs anywhere! Then it took me up to where I'd already been...I knew I'd been encountering dejavu...so I don't know what happened there. But I was riding better by the end (started off terribly and sucked).
7 PM

Walk 25:00 [1]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Round the lake. Conscious breathing.

Road Bike 30:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

Felt like hard work!
6 AM

Run (treadmill) 15:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

Because I felt like it. Good to know that I haven't become super slow...just slow (which is probably not saying that much since I wasn't very fast to start with)!

Gym (arm weights and core) 30:00 [3]

Orienteering race (SS - Craigavon) 1:10:15 [3] 8.2 km (8:34 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

I love this map! It is deceptively complex and yet again I managed some crazy mistakes and some stupid route choices. I was reasonably okay until #5 where I must have been standing right on top of the control but didn't see it so went searching elsewhere with no luck. So silly! Bad route to #8 (should have gone up the road). Allan caught me on the way to #12 so he must have made even more mistakes than I had. Had heaps of trouble trying to find #15 on the mythical stream bend. We ran together until about #17 where he took off and I was too tired to even try. I walked most of the hills which was a bit lame but I think I'm not quite recovered yet plus I really haven't done much running in months! Bet Owen by miles :-P

6 AM

Walk 30:00 [1]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5

Round the lake with a bit of exploring. It was so hot even for so early in the morning.
6 PM

Climbing (indoor - TR) 1:30:00 [3]
shoes: Red Chili Spirit Lady

At Extreme Edge with Chris. So hot that I felt really dizzy and weak. Had a panic attack over on the big wall...I have a seriously irrational fear of the ledge.
