Nice little cruise up to SOK and back with Michael. Feeling much better today.

Run 1:24:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 5

Quite horrific! Ran along the river then up Worsleys. Should have known it was going to be bad when I had to stop to almost be sick. Bad sun stroke along with a rather awful sleep the night before does not a happy Katie make. Anyway, ran down part of Flying Nun before feeling far too ill to continue. Got back up to the top and rang Michael to get him to rescue me then jogged down Worsleys to meet Michael at the top of the road.

Walk 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

We had planned to go climbing but it didn't seem like such a good idea by evening. What a day. Got to leave work early though which is always good right?! And it was exciting getting to climb up into the roof. I never knew pink batts were so horrible to lie on!

MTB 1:25:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

Up Huntsbury, along the track, down through Vic Park (via the 4wd track then back up the road to SOK, down old Dyers Pass Track then down the road to home. Thought it might be a battle (which getting up the hill was!) but after that things got so much better. I did have to take my bike back to ride over a couple of things because I put on the brakes in panic as usual but I did ride them so was pretty cool for me. The sun was out too which helped.

Rogaine race (Christmas Rogaine) 1:18:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 5

The Christmas Rogaine with Michael. Still so tired and the blister under my little toe (from last Wednesday which I have been trying hard to ignore) got sore once my feet got wet (5 minutes in). Got steadily worse and my foot was getting sore from the way it made me run too. Sigh. I am so over everything. Anyway, it was okay but I just was so slow. Think we could have got another 150 points if we'd thought about it but that's okay. Michael put up with me again somehow. Not sure how he does it.

Walk 50:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6

So extremely tired after working on the newsletter till the early hours of the morning. I am so over everything right now that I'd like the whole planet to go away for a while. Anyway, we were going to bike up the hill but I was tired and Michael was worried about his leg being sore for tomorrow so we went for a walk up the hill instead. There was a big running group heading up our hill at the same time. We were faster walking than a few of them. Admittedly though we were walking epicly fast (or at least it felt fast because I was so exhausted).

Quick blat up to SOK after work (via Hackthorne Rd and Victoria Park on the way up). Awesome and would have gone (much) further if I didn't have mountains of work to do.
