MTB 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

With Michael and Emily up Rapaki, along the Mt Vernon track, traverse track, down through Vic Park then up the road to SOK and down old Dyers then down the road to home. Awesome. Made it over a few more of the rocky sections following Emily's line and also another corner in the Vic Park track and whizzed down old Dyers. Emily is awesome to ride with (Michael is too so it was perfect!!). Can't wait to ride again!

Walk 9:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Cabrakan 3

From home walking up the stairs in the new shoes.

Run 28:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Cabrakan 3

From the top of the stairs along the flatter roads to the track down behind the hospital then along the river the long way home. Nice and gentle testing out the new shoes. They seem pretty comfy and fairly padded so hopefully my feet enjoy them next weekend. Will wear them as much as possible this coming week to, well, wear them in.

Road Bike 2:15:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

With Michael up Hackthorne Road, along the tops and down the Basdrat to Gebbies Pass then along to Governor's Bay, up the hill to SOK again then back down to home. Those "little" hills after Gebbies are bloody awful! Then I thought I was going to die on the way up the last hill but somehow I pulled out a good amount of suffering in a high gear. Michael thought I was crazy (I was, I admit it).

Strength and Conditioning 5:00 [3]

Just a little session after work.
6 PM

Climbing (indoor - TR) 1:45:00 [3]
shoes: Five Ten Anasazi Verde

At the Roxx with Michael and Emily. Good session and now I am totally exhausted. Managed to improve the state of my pull ups afterwards which was quite exciting. Got about halfway on one of them! The tips of my fingers feel like they got scraped off on the wall though.

MTB 1:30:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

With Michael up Rapaki in the blazing heat then started the Mt Vernon track but got halfway along battling the wind until I'd had enough so we rode round the road. Attempted to start the traverse track but the wind blew me into the tussocks and I wasn't impressed so we battled more wind along Summit Road (it was pretty desperate to blow me in the the carpark before the Sugar Loaf - I was weaving all over the road!). Then down through Vic Park where I was awesome and mastered the 3 corners...twice. Getting there slowly. Then hooning down the usual way to home. I wish the wind wasn't so ridiculous but I'm glad we didn't battle along the traverse track because I think I would have been feeling a bit too tired and frustrated to work on what we did in Vic Park.

Run 1:00:40 [3]
(injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 5

Wednesday night run up Rapaki to the top of Mt Vernon then back down Farm Track. Another big turnout tonight. Yay! Feeling pretty stiff, SO overtired and my back started making me feel quite nauseous not long into the run. I just kept a fairly slow steady pace and it seemed to work out okay. Coming down again was not so fun. Died riding home again though whilst trying to keep up with Steve and Rob. I really need sleep. So almost collapsed by the time I got home. That was entertaining!

Strength and Conditioning 30:00 [3]
(injured)

Got into it straight after work (although couldn't do several things like planks etc since my back was not happy at some of these ideas) then headed off to hang out with the girls :)

Note
(injured)

Couldn't get out of bed this morning without Michael helping me. This sucks. I hope it goes away soon as mysteriously as it arrived!

MTB 1:30:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Louis Garneau Monte Rosa MTB

We thought we'd see how I'd survive on a bike. Better than on foot as it turns out. Cruised up Rapaki, avoided any more strenuous hills and biked round the road to the traverse track then down through Vic Park and on to Dyers Pass and home. Nothing flash. The back thingy seemed okay but is a little bit sore again now.
