Tootling over to the Hurunui from Gore Bay on the tandem with the others then back again with a few detours and extra hill climbs for fun.

Walk 5:00:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 8

Up to Mt Fyffe Hut with M, Hilary and Tane where we met up with Greig and Clare. Then onwards towards the top for a little bit until I slipped over on the ice and hit my head. It didn't seem a good idea to continue heading up so M and I headed back down till about halfway then headed back up to the hut...and then back down. Beautiful weather and a nice big hill. But my head aches.

Road Bike intervals (windtrainer) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

HOW cancelled and work was stressful today so vented frustration by going hard on the trainer. So hard I nearly vomited. Wish I could have gone running tonight but I ran yesterday and I don't want to jinx my foot.

Run 55:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 8

Wednesday night run. Dropped behind quickly because I'm so slow and my legs felt like bricks. It's always amusing how SOT is chosen for an "easy" run and then everyone takes off like rockets because it's flatter. Anyway, caught up Emily who must have started earlier and mostly hung out with her. Legs felt better after half an hour but I feel tired still.

Note
(rest day)

Does virtual training count?! Really needed an early night but instead had a super late one! I did eat cake though and that makes things all good.
