Run intervals 51:11 [4]
(injured) shoes: Merrell Allout Rush (#3)

Fartlek farty thing up the Harry Ell, around the back of the Sugar Loaf (extremely slowly as it was a bit uneven for my poor ankle) then down another way. I thought it was supposed to be 45 minutes but when I got back I noticed I'd misread my plan as usual and it was supposed to be an hour. Oh well, I was starting to feel pretty sick by 45 so probably an hour would have been a bit much this morning. Plus I've already butchered the plan enough times that I'm probably doomed for failure...or at least a very long time.

Road Bike 1:25:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

Up the hill and along the tops with M after visiting the Molly Cat. Thighs felt shattered to start with but improved heaps. Glad we didn't time trial as I'm still feeling pretty average.

Note
(injured) (sick)

Rode my mtb to work intending to got for a ride after work but yep, the good times have begun and I considered going home from work at lunchtime - except having a bike makes that difficult when you feel that bad. Felt a bit better by the time I left but then, after visiting Molly who didn't seem that good, I felt awful again so yep, no riding for me. Not the best day to start the standing desk experiment at work either!

Run 56:24 [3]
(injured) shoes: Merrell Allout Rush (#2)

Gentle cruise round Bottle Lake with M to start with until his knee gave up tehn trailed behind some huffy puffy bearded guy until I found M again. The ankle was pretty good although it hated the soft sand and I couldn't really run very well up any incline. Also my stride was a bit shorter than normal.

(injured) shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

Tandem ride with M in the hills. Tried not to push too hard. The ankle was fine (a vast improvement to last night where it must have become swollen inside and consequently hard to walk on) except when M made me unclip. A few muscles in my leg feel a bit funny though.
If anyone else tells me that we are cheating when we pass them riding up a hill I might just lose my temper. For your information (not that you really wanted to know) it's harder and slower, especially in gravel.

Run 44:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Merrell Allout Rush (#2)

Very much enjoying a cruisey run most of the way up Rapaki and down the valley until I put my foot down a nicely hidden hole and twisted my ankle. Had a bit of a freak out but it kinda sorted itself out after a few minutes so jog/walked the rest of the way home. Sigh. I guess it is lucky it is an easy week this week and there are still a few more weeks for all things to improve?

Note
(rest day)

Was going to do some stuff but am a bit stressed. We walked to the supermarket instead via our house. The paint is cool. I love the blackboard paint. Now I just need someone to draw all over it for me since I kinda forgot I can't really write on that angle any more.

MTB 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: SH-WM43

Cold tandem cruise up Rapaki and down Huntsbury. Too much pain :-(
Would have liked to be rogaining but this is supposed to be an easy week and I'm getting nervous and tired.
