Note

Walking round in the super cold and windy morning putting up posters. So tired. Then worked late, got home, cried and ate chocolate. This week sucks.

Note

Molly has gone missing. We have walked up and down and up and down and up and down and I am extremely tired. I want my cat back.

MTB 35:00 [3]

Headwind hell from work out to the rogaine. I came so close to giving up on the causeway.

Rogaine race (Barnett Park rogaine) 1:41:45 [3]
shoes: Icebug Aceleritas 4

Fun times gossiping with Lara. Not the most exciting course but still pretty fun. It was pretty clear from early on that we'd be able to get them all which was a bit sad but I was feel pretty good and strong considering how bad I'd felt on Saturday.

MTB 22:00 [3]

Lovely cruise home again with a very pleasant tailwind!

Unsurprisingly the TT was cancelled but we never checked so ride out there anyway and got drenched. Then just cruised the course with one of the other regulars (okay, so it wasn't actually a cruise at all) before making the cold trip home. I was completely frozen and miserable by the time we got home! Felt quite good riding. Seem to be feeling reasonably recovered...

So many interruptions it's amazing I actually got through!

Road Bike 3:32:31 [3] 72.83 km (2:55 / km)
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

Nice little ride to get a vegan thickshake at the Shroom Room (and maybe, just maybe, there was a little Le Race training in there). Feeling pretty damn good on the tandem today! Clearly I am destroyed for running at the moment but not for cycling. Kinda weird! Super super hot. We also detoured on the way home to get our bike checked off and have been given the all clear so yay (or is it more like, now it's time to freak out a little? Le Race is one hell of a scary race for little Katies)!

And just for fun, here's the entertaining elevation variations:
Garmin: 1,505m
K's Strava: 1,855m
M's Strava: 2,341m

Run 1:08:38 [3]
shoes: Merrell All Out Charge

Good lord it was hot and I was so shattered. Rode over to Bowenvale and dragged myself up the old downhill track then thought I could go up the zig zag but I was far too tired so kept looping round the valley with a bit of a walking detour up some of the 4WD tracks in the forest where it was shaded. Then went for another detour back up onto the downhill track. So much walking. Such slow grovelling when I was running. Came home and could have just fallen asleep on the floor if I hadn't felt so sweaty!
