Run 1:31:17 [3]
shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense 5 Ultra

Up the Captain Thomas, along the tops then back down the Scarborough Bluffs (still a mystery why the one called the bluffs track has no bluffs and the one with the bluffs isn't). Feeling slow and more than a bit funny in the tummy still. This is getting tiresome. Then, when I got home, I couldn't get my shoes off. Why do they have the most stupidest lacing system in the planet? Got all panicked after spending 15 minutes trying. Eventually managed to force my feet out of them. We had to run the locking system under water to loosen them in the end. Am I missing something here or is it really such a stupid system?

Road Bike 1:50:00 [3]
shoes: Louis Garneau Revo XR

Finally, after months of thinking about it, we finally rode up Monks Spur. It's quite steep near the start...for quite a while. I was really quite glad to not be able to see in front of me! Then we cruised along the tops and down Dyers into the windy cold crosswinds. Took ages to defrost in the shower!

Note

Molly's really loving this foam roller business...

Walk 1:05:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nirvana 7

Nice little evening walk with M in the dark. Only one headlight so that meant M couldn't leap ahead (or slack off behind for that matter!). Legs are still feeling quite tired so I wanted exercise but didn't feel like something more intense was the best option.

Then some foam rolling with Molly who decided that sitting on me was the perfect vantage point to witness the amusement.

Note

Foam rolling for the first time ever. Apparently it will make me brilliant...or just less tight. One thing is for certain, it gave my arms one hell of a workout!

Run 1:40:20 [3]
shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense 5 Ultra

Up Rapaki while I died slowly trying to keep in contact with the speedsters then round to the Tors for some rock climbing and blood spilling before heading back and down the valley. Boy are my legs tight (like a really slow tiger that has super tight legs)!

MTB 2:40:00 [3]
shoes: SH-WM43

Whilst M and Chris slogged up some big hill and Al, Amber and Emily bashed around in the bush I slogged around some gravel tracks and got tired and lost! So tired. So lost!!! Millbrook Estate is like an evil trap designed to lure mountain bikers in and swallow them and the Lake Hayes turnoff is seriously lacking any signage and Chris and Emily's street isn't even on any maps (I was less than 200 metres away on the wrong side of an embankment!). There are also now hundreds of photographs of me on many a tourist's camera. So bizzare.
