Orienteering race (Kuldiga) 41:18 [5] **** 5.1 km (8:06 / km)
13c shoes: VJ Intergator

BC relay. Ran 2nd leg in 1st team. Not sure if it was the best for the team, but it was team leaders decision.. Arrived 25min before the start and was pretty stressed. My blister wasnt too great, but hoped with some special bandage it will be ok. Jumped in my o-shoes and warmed up for 5min. Already before the race felt it wont be my best performance.. Could feel blister in every step, especially in the uphills - was walking because of pain in my heel, not because was too tired.. Was very tired on the long spectators run- pain in right heel and cramp in left leg wasnt the best combination... 3 controls left still was in the leading pack with 2 other eesti girls, but then hesitated a little bit and totally paniced seeing open field instead of green marsh.. Damn disappointing end of the run, even though the race itself wasnt too great, but was trying to keep up with girls.. To Aija lost 8'!!!! To 'normal' girls 3-6'.
Thanks to me, Sandra couldnt catch up with girls and we ended up in 3rd spot. Sorry girls..
Lithuania faced one more fiasco loosing a lot in teams competition..

Orienteering race (Kuldiga) 1:13:06 [5] **** 8.9 km (8:13 / km)

Baltic champs long. Pretty green, marshy, qiute flat terrain. Poor readable by 15 000 scale. From the start didnt feel too great and fast, but seems today was more important to read the map than to run fast. Went pretty ok till 55min, but was pretty messy orienteering- a lot of hesitating, looping on the way to controls. After spectators control was already pretty tired and went to #22 instead #18 and my shitty part of the race started.. after realizing its the wrong number (code checking payed back!) couldnt find the right one.. Then started to feel that banana I refused to take at spectators is laughing at me- my batteries went flat.. And again got >2' stop to rest my fast heart.. Last 10min barely jogged..
On the last 20min lost ~6-7min... Pretty disappointind end =( Lost to Skrastina 12.23, to Sandra just over 5'. At least was 2nd best lithuanian, 5th in Baltics.. Too many mistakes for girls.. Got blister again on the same right foot, hope dont need to run in runners tomorrow..

Model event before Baltic champs. Damn crap terrain- could hardly walk in places, was quite ok in other places though. Hope tomorrow will be better... 15 000 scale will be hard to read.. Legs hurt a little bit after intervals

10x100m. Started with girls, but they left me soon and I was left to struggle (because after 4reps I got tired). Anyway was one of the most enjoyable speed session recently... My suunto has problems with battery again, so no heart rate again... Seems I always need to start the first stride a bit more carefully and slower, coz my heart doesnt like stress and goes crazy...

8x400m + 2x200m. Was pretty lazy from the start- hard to fight ont hat track.. But anyway was quite ok till 6th.. On 7th rep my right belly side started to sore, so took longer recoveries and then shortened intervals, coz couldnt be bothered suffering... pretty disappointing end, but anyway it was a usefull session I think..
