SOW day 6. 6.7km, 340m. Chasing start. As I was out of chasing start already for a while (1h behind leader), started nicely around maany girls - some of them were good (Fincke, Fasting). Did a stupid route choice to no 3, didnt go on the left road, ended up somewhere in the middle. Also wasnt very clean run later on - bad execution, some hesitation, but worst was no 19, where I went straight, not on the upper road.. Lost some 4min... Really liked the last part - tricky - I was slow, but managed to find controls.
Body felt kind of good - managed to push sometimes and to run uphill! But sharpness was really missing..
+21.32 down to Hauswirth.

SOW day5. 3.9km 130m. Supposed to be the most spectacular day - going to arena by cable car. But weather was shit and got even worse so they cancelled the race. I was lucky to be the first starter, so still have time to enjoy sunshine in the arena after finish. Course was kind of easy except two stony sections - example I lost a lot of time on no 6 - nearly 5-6min, just couldnt see flag even though i passed it several times.. Also nearly got lost on the way to the last control as the tape wasnt so obvious for me.. I just realized I cant run on stones..Just losing too much time there. Also twisted ankle in pretty nice ground.. In general body felt ok - managed to run, even on some uphills - finally aclimatized...
Highlight of the day was Mari fasting asking how long/high is t othe start and if 30min is enough :)

SOW day 4. 6.7km 310m. Really superb terrain - 3 different types and really beautiful in places. Loved technical short legs till the middle of the course - managed to lose around 3-4min mostly on hesitations and bad execution of the leg. Did one bigger parallel mistake there as well (under 2'). Then the course went to technical slope - super hard runability and nearly impossible to distinguish details. I tried to be carefull and slow, but missed no 20 by nearly 6 min.. The rest was not clean neither. Except that part pf the course, i would be pretty happy - Body started to cooperate - still cant push, but at least can run in the terrain. Even though spend ages on the course, didnt feel very tired (suspect due low intensity).
+33.27 down to Mari fasting.

With Tekle and Jonas to Diavolezza from yesterdays arena. On the way back took the 'blue' route - panicked in several places, but was super fun move over huge stones.

SOW day3. 7.3k 300m. After body yesterday said that competition is over and being concerned about me health, today took totally easy - took phone, got short shorts and decided enjoy the views today. It was super nice terrain and super nice weather. Walked a lot, but that was also hard work sometimes (uphills). Technically did quite ok, except that took non optimal routes to no 3 and 10 - the best was far left for both. Hesitated on 5, 12, 13. Body felt kind of better - was keen to run on flattish places and didnt feel Im gonna choke.
+35.06 down to Mari Fasting.

Orienteering race 52:19 [5] 3.9 km (13:25 / km) +170m 11:01 / km

SOW day2. WRE, 3.9k, 170m. Really expected terrain to be technical as it should be on WRE, was excited. But the joy was killed on the way to the first control - 65m climb. The rest of terrain sounded the same - big clear hills, really little space for mistakes. Body resisted to cooperate - was in constant oxygen debt, managed to run just downhills - even on flat, which was still hard to run regarding blueberries, branches and some stones.
Also managed to run 100m or so on the wrong direction on the road right after start triangle.. Did the same mistake another two times later in the course. Also didnt take road on long route to no 5 where I lost a lot and got High hr..
Body felt wrecked - even considered walking to the finish which was to a little uphill. Couldnt get back my breath for the rest of the day and part of the night - managed to sleep only on the back.
+17.10 down to Fincke.
