Orienteering race (Avizieniai) 40:20 [3] *** 5.5 km (7:20 / km)
ahr:174 max:180 17c slept:10.0 shoes: Inov-8 X-TALON

Club relay, leg 1. Started out fast as always and nearly all girls followed (except Sandra of course). Went too far left - as it was so easy ro follow guys. Relocated after some 300m being 90degrees on the left. From there i never really had the lead.. soon got tired and just hanged there - navigating alone, hanging with Vesta (when had same forking) and of course having Algirda by my side - as we had the same forking all the way! Lost Vesta and Judita as was being silly and went straight - via open area and depressions full of water. But Algirda and Tekle trusted me. It was kind of only mistake despite ridiculous first one were we lost around 1min. The rest was just a physical struggle and maybe some longer forkings. Was good that my poor performance didnt influence azuolas win!

Running warm up/down 28:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:36 / km)

Multisport (Klaipeda) 2:38:00 [2] 17.5 km (9:02 / km)
slept:3.0 shoes: Asics Trainer- Blie

Klaipeda challenge, green/beginners course. Felt legit to participate as my partner wore jeans and mountain/walking shoes covering ankles. Ended up in the race the last minute - less than 24h bedore took over free entry. My collegue didnt have any running gear, we didnt have bikes, so knew it will be an adventure than a race more. In the morning didnt feel too wel and was surprised collegue agreed to run! Ok, not more than several hundred meters at once, but the whole way got going in a slow pace. Hardest part was the kayak as we ended zigzaging all the way and splashing around - it was my co panions first time in kayak. Orienteeringwise it went ok - messed up water control as got out of water when didnt notice control as control flag was down. Puzzle was difficult, but had some girls team near, so worked it out eventually. Also was confused on the old map control. Bought a bottle of water in the shop in the middle of bike leg (when we were running) as was getting hot.
Superb day and cool event. Also super proud of collegue - i didnt expect to do so much running.
A bit dissapointed about prizes as we came 2nd and got plastic trophies..
