Treatment (Massage) 30:00 [3]
K session. She had a cancellation, so I snuck in. The ibuprofen had done its job and the original strain was settled, but the whole of my back has been compensating, and hurt all over when she got her thumbs and elbows in. Ouch! Much better now, though.

Tuesday Sep 19

Note
'Twas the bleep teat in the gym, but pulled my back carrying Teenies car seat on Sunday, and by Sunday evening, I could hardly move.
Ice++, a pulsing shower and brufen got me through the night, and now it's eased lots, but K can't see me til Saturday. A straight run I could get away with, but a bleep teat with a target is probably not a good idea.

Respect to Mike Barnby - beat Stampys best from last year by 1!

Orienteering race (Oldacre) 55:00 [4]**** 5.7 km (9:39 / km)
spiked:18/18c shoes: vj's
Blue on Oldacre/W Sherbrook. Clean run. Felt good, for a change.
I never normally run at Chasers events (looking back through results its years since I did) - in case extra maps need printing, etc, and a Teenie to watch, too. And to top it off today, I left my O shoes at home so ran in trainers (so careful in terrain), and only decided after registration closed that I was going to run, so no control descriptions, either.
Very pleased, considering!
