Track warm up/down 30:00 [3] 7.0 mi (4:17 / mi)
slept:8.0 weight:135lbs shoes: Asics

the warm up felt like the workout. it was really nice at afton though. too bad its so far away.

Track hills 20:00 [4] 3.0 mi (6:40 / mi)
slept:8.0 weight:135lbs shoes: Asics

woke up at 8:15 to get on a 1 hour bus ride to afton alps. it was really nice up there. great day to run. the hills were roughly 250m. i didnt have a watch but i think they were taking us about 50ish seconds to get up. my knee was hurting after 5 so i took the 6th off and ran the 7th easy. then i ran the 8th hard. i was so spent. my knee was really weak, i felt like it was gonna give out on me. then we ran up one of the ski hills and when we got to the top we found out it was the wrong way so we had to run down a black diamond and back up another huge fricken hill. but the donuts and juice after really hit the spot. and adam jeff and i went to the top of the roof of the big activity center there. it was sweet. even though the hills sucked it was still a really fun day on the alps of afton.

easy day today on the corridor. my knee hurt again and my shin. i turned back a little early. i hate being hurt. i just wanna race at my full potential. elite meet was really fun. adam ran a great time. he went out pretty fast but he still got a pr and i love him. it was a really fun night.

Note

dear blake, what was going on on the way home was bound to happen. we were having a good time and we thought it would be funny to do that. and we didnt do it to be mean we just thought it would be funny. sorry if ur car is wet. but it was just water so it will dry. and we didnt think we would make anyone bleed. im sorry and i love you.

Track intervals (Sunshine Loops) 30:00 [4] 5.0 mi (6:00 / mi)
slept:7.0 weight:135lbs shoes: Asics

quick workout at sunshine. those loops suck but its usually a good workout. my knee was hurting again so i couldnt finish the whole workout :( im just gonna run through this stupid knee thing. we went in the ice bath after too. that was sooo funny. i poured a cup of the water on blake's junk. hahaha. that was hilarious! then he flashed his package at jeff, who was right behind me. that was disgusting. but also extremely funny. i hope afton on saturday doesnt kill us. and adam runs at the elite meet tomorrow. im excited to watch him.

***FOR ALL ANDOVER DISTANCE GUYS****
***FOR ALL ANDOVER DISTANCE GUYS****

obviously i agree that we have gotten the shaft on numerous things this year with the shirts and the shorts and now the 4X800 incident. but we need to just keep doing our thing and the coaches and everyone else will see how amazing we are. if we keep up our great work the rewards and benefits will be right behind them. but my thought is that we need to watch what we say on here. call me paranoid but im just saying this because of how quickly the rumors spread regarding the reasons we bought the new shorts. i say we just keep the names out of it because i would hate to have a coach (other than ken and hecker) see this. then we would be discriminated against even more then we already are, and possibly get in trouble. (but if one of our coaches is looking at this; Ben Blakenship, the defending 1600m state champion, was wearing the EXACT same shorts we got in his race at stillwater). but we kick ass on the track and we are gonna kick ass regardless of what happens off the track.

Track (Easy Day) 30:00 [1] * 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
slept:7.0 weight:135lbs shoes: Asics

really fun and easy day. we taped kids up. threw stuff at others. it was a great time. but kyle tackled me and adam backed him up so i tapped adams sack, he fell over and hit his head on a rock!!! OHHH NOOOOO!!! it was kinda sad. but he gets to run in the elite meet so im sure he's feeling pretty good still. the 4X800 team didnt get entered though. that totally sucks, especically for Kyle and Lorren. the distance guys just cant catch a break. we're getting pretty bullied.

i wanna run faster!! i dont relize until im on the way home that i could have run faster at the end. i dont know why i dont push it more. i guess i got a PR but im definately not satisfied. my knee was hurting all day and my quad also at the meet. i just wanna be able to say that i ran the fastest i could have on that day. i just have to stay healthy and get more sleep. im still recovering from the weekend. im moving in the right direction so i guess thats good.
