OSA Adventure. Ran George Lake-OSA portage, trekked into an awesome blueberry patch. Various paddling in lake. This is truly my favourite place in Canada!

Dundas Valley run with Dave D (following biking). Went to Boston Pizza for the traditional annual pizza feast. Jukola team is looking good for 2004!

Rail trail with Etoile then into DV trails to Rifle Range, up Martin's Road (slowly), then over to Chedoke single track with Snoop.

Valens Park Race (plus warm-up, cool down).
Ran steady. Great club bbq followed.

Ran a perfect race!
Everything clicked and managed to stay focussed.
1) Hammer 62, 2) Duca 71
Legs felt better after the long time away from running.
Need to focus on more speed the next 5 weeks.

Kayaking in Ramsey Lake prior to the race. Probably wasn't a good idea. Got a little dehydrated.

Blueberry Sprint at Laurentian Lake.
Great terrain and technical course. Only spiked 2 of 9.
Never got into the race - couldn't focus and took some bad route choices. Was a real treat to orienteer on the open rock hilltops in Sudbury again.

Almost a week without running. Legs feel better and I am able to train in the heat. Training is back to pre-May levels and consistency. Sudbury 2-day "A" meet this weekend. Hoping to get some of the pre-May jump in the legs (lacking since US Short/Long Champs).
