| Easy run with speed work in the middle (1 on, 2 off x 5) with Sudden at Churchill/Princess Point. Didn't feel 'fluid' yet but the running wasn't as painful so I'll take it for now. |

| Running on grass at Churchill Park. Dull pain in left knee with brace on but hurt on downhills. BUT this is probably good news. Threw in a few sprints. WIll try forest running on Wed. so WOC is a go (the relay at least). |

| Re-injured ankle doing field work in Baie-Comeau. Training has been stopped until swelling goes down. Very frustrating to have this problem so close to WOC - especially when everything was going well. |

| Week summary for paddling in Killarney. At times easy and other times it was 'full-on' AR racing speed so we call it a 2 but took week's total for time and divided by 2.5. Treated this as training and not just a family outing. I hope I wasn't too intense. Took it easy on portages. |

| Week summary for Deep Water Running (DWR). Most was done with a float and consisted with 1.5 minutes on, 1.5 minutes off (some with Emma). Ankle hurt early - hence the float (SZ's advice). It was great to 'run' full out. Could have done more but didn't want to over do it. Ankle is injured still but I can train but still can't run on it (not until Sept). |
