Orienteering race 1:05:00 [4] ***

Pig Long. Ran well in the hills but strained knee slipping and sliding and then crashing into the SI stand at #4. Took a few controls a little easier and then picked up the pace for the final few km. Only one small 15 second error at #17. My first place today made for a GHO sweep of the M21 races on the weekend. Sudden's training program is working. Lots of fun this weekend - complete with mini bender Sat. night. Piller would have been proud of the 2 pint beers and margaritas!

Pig Sprint. Much much better than yesterday technically and was able to run better today too. But MrPither put in a great race winning by almost 30 seconds!

Pig Relay (US Champs). Another perfect race (well maybe 10 seconds lost) in the afternoon. Felt really strong on the hills and pushed hard the whole way. Anchored GHO to the win.

Pig Middle and GHO Team Trials. I squeeked onto GHO's "A" team for the relays tomorrow. Foolish error at an abandoned Pig House. Good runs by the GHO Canada GHO gang.

12 x 2 on, 1 off on the 17th fairway with MrP, Fossil and FrankenJack. A very tough workout but it was the best I've felt in a long time.
