ski orienteering. fun but I ran outta gas on the single track to #9 and thats when the knee started to complain. Good course and ya gotta love that double poling uphill pain. All in all a good weekend of training.

Wasaga Beach AR: The Coalition led from staRt to (what we thought was the) finish but alas it wasn't the finish for us so went back out for another 25 minutes of ski-O fun with the Griz. The Griz was awesome with Both map reading and breaking trail on the snowshoe while i struggled to keep up. I really enjoy racing with Griz since I can take a break from navigating. Wasaga is a Really Nice area. Too bad no go for summer racing. Would have prefered a longer race (well I guess we made it longer by skiing many extra K) but the Time was about right for me as the knee was slowing us down late in the snowshoe and on our 2nd ski-O session. Thanks stars.

Wadd Squad TNT. We arrived late for GHO TNT so we ran on the golf course then AdventureGirl! and I slipped and slided our way up the Ron Lowry hill. Followed up with some stairs and frankensteps to finish off.

2 cokes today. Oops. But going from 3 per day to one every 3 days isn't a bad start. Coke Zero is helping greatly.

Hard core Mondays. Almost killed me again.

So when AdventureGirl! came home from school she decided to re-organize her collection of old orienteering maps in her binder(s).

Brought a tear to Daddy's eye. The art of map collection binder is dieing in this day of the DOMA so I was proud and happy to see she is keen to keep the art and science of keeping track of her race maps and routes the old skool way (too).
