HOT! FDF Hell! Muddy! Fun!

Rockstar Adventure Race. No repeat for ‘Bent and I but we raced smart given the conditions (lots of required pit stops at any place we found open water). We had the choice of a long road ride to the south or more nav, points and technical MTB to the north. We chose north which was a mistake results wise (all top teams went south) but more interesting adventure wise.

EDIT: I stopped counting the deer fly bites i got at 100.

Note

The Waddtage now has an awesome sprint orienteering map!

Map: Storsund
Scale: 1:1000
Contours: 0.5m
Fieldwork: David Bakker (July, 2019)

This has always been a long-term dream of mine. Own my land and have an orienteering map of that land. Sure 4 acres isn't a big area but the rock detail makes it work for a forest sprint.

I hired David Bakker and I highly recommend hiring him for map making. He works hard and does a great job. He is professional, knowledgeable and all round pleasant guy. While he isn't completely done the drawing here is a sneak peek.

Gula Stigen Super Sprint Invitational coming later this summer.
