Once again foiled by exercise induced urticaria aka HIVES. The attack of the frickin' killer hives no less. Talk about annoying. Ugh. Only got 50 minutes in before I had to quit and chew up a bunch of Benadryl.

I'm starting to think I should pre-emptivley epi-pen myself before I work out.

Two sessions & 500 calories.

322 calories / 2.19 miles / 30 minutes = 27 minutes at incline 5.0 and speed 4.0; 2 minutes at incline 0.0 and speed 10.0 (new high running 6 minute mile pace for 2 minutes...will try for a full 6 minute mile by year end); 1 minute warmdown at 0.0 incline and speed 4.0.

268 calories / 1.62 miles / 23 minutes = 20 minutes at incline 6.5 and speed 4.0; 1 minute at incline 0.0 and speed 4.0; 2 minutes at 0.0 incline and speed 12.0 (machine actually only gets to about speed 11.2 and then fcomplains that it can't get to the desired speed....also new high for running 5 minute mile pace for 2 minutes).

Then quit early b/c the hives began attacking in their flying saucers...

Long break from working out due to travel, being Mr. Mom, etc.

Managed to generate exercise induced urticaria within 40 minutes. Did whole session at low intensity to complete a 2.5 hour session. Had to stop after 1st hour and take 3 Benadryl. Lame.
