Monday Apr 28

Running 40:00 [2]
Trying to undo some of what T did to my legs yesterday.

Sunday Apr 27

Running 1:10:00 [4]
Run with mT. Half easy - half tempo. Felt good and relaxed - legs didn't stiffen. T made sure we kept the tempo steady.

Saturday Apr 26

Road Bike 4:00:00 [3]
Interval pacing off a car around back of SP and up hill. Ran into Ken and Mark halfway to HSB. Rode back then two interval climbs up Jericho and around UBC. Felt OK - but not super strong.

Tuesday Apr 15

Running 20:00 [2]
Slow warm down with T after his intervals.

Monday Apr 14

Running 1:15:00 [4]17 km (4:25 / km)
Run in St Pk with monster-T and the other Scandinavian Sensation - Henrik. The boys took it pretty easy on me for the first half. Felt comfortable in my stride for the first time this year. Eventually the legs stiffened and just managed to hang off the back until before the bridge. They slowed up a couple of times which made for good intervals for me. H & T finished strong while I limped in the last km - but quite privileged to join such strong runners.

Sunday Apr 13

Road Bike 3:10:00 [3]
I knew my new bike was a bit less stable, especially after the Atomic race, but I chalked that up to the gravel. Today I experience my first ever speed wobble going 70 down Seymour... and for a few heart stopping moments I thought I wasn't going to pull out of it... wow - scary stuff.

- LG - Seymour - LG
Road Bike hills 52:42 [4]
Seymour. OK time for first run of the season.

Saturday Apr 12

Road Bike 5:45:00 [3]
- no sleep so went with the early Coastal ride.
- fantastic sunrise was just a sign of things to come.
- after an altogether crappy week - Van decided to get warm and sunny and pick me up right off the floor.

- Andrew, Dave and Colin
- round UBC - WV - started to turn the screws - Dave and I dropped the other two - I crushed him on 'the hill' and some of the long ups - he took most of the sprints and punchy ups - Whyteclif - 2nd Nar

- Just before we hit the base of Burn. Mtn - Dave broke his rear cable... probably on purpose to demonstrate what a hard man he is. He pulled it into his 18 and tied it off around his water cage - then he and I took off hard. First quarter I was on his wheel - but he tired and we just rode it together except for the sprint finish which was all his.

- 2nd Nar - LG - home.

- a good day. (almost 20C)

Thursday Apr 10

Mountain Bike 1:30:00 [3]
Mechanicals.
- discovered front fork pooched.
- decided to ride out to NS locked out.
- broke chain - took forever to find a chain breaker
- rear shock also leaking
- tired

Wednesday Apr 9

Road Bike 1:30:00 [3]
Tired - not feeling good

Monday Apr 7

Running 1:30:00 [3]
- train tracks - over and back.
- generally tired - legs a bit too - but not too bad

Sunday Apr 6

Road Bike 3:00:00 [4]
Vets - good session
Decided to work as much as possible.
Pulled on dikes - long lead out to first sprint - caught all but two.
Four attacked on second. Older Masi and I spent the rest of the time chasing. They blew through a couple lights and disappeared. Pulled much of Iona. Eased a bit but went with Masi. Jack and Marv charged around the corner and Masi quit... so stood up and lead out with 500. No one came around and caught Marv at the line.
Soloed around UBC and kept off a chasing Marv and Jack.
Mountain Bike 2:30:00 [3]
Bridle to Seymour - road back

Saturday Apr 5

Road Bike 4:00:00 [3]
missed hill intervals
Whyteclif - DeepC

Thursday Apr 3

Road Bike 1:50:00 [3]
WV - short
Wasn't feeling it. Legs tired.

Wednesday Apr 2

Running 1:10:00 [3]
Hard run
Hamstrings stiff from yesterday.
GC - tempoed it up Ont chasing a slow cyclist.

Tuesday Apr 1

Mountain Bike 4:00:00 [3]
Sweet ride with the SwB and DK along bridal.

Continued to top of Neds where the SwB proceeded to destroy the Dust Bin on his first time at Seymour.

Good ride.
