Sunday May 4

Event: QOC College Park

orienteering race 1:45:08 [5] 5.7 km (18:27 / km) +235m 15:18 / km
shoes: orient w/spikes
West point, classic; Green Y
Did some small errors at the beginning, but was angry after #9. I found a control but because I read on the description wrong code I just passed it twice!!!. Then when I was trying to make sure about position of the rocks I saw control between rocks that looks like my #10. Checked my description and realized my silly error, went back and was so angry. Have to loose more then 10 minutes. I could probably won if not that mistake. Grrrr!

orienteering 1:03 [2] 1.7 km (37 / km) +70m 31 / km
West Point, white with Alex.
She tried to run little bit, but trails were very rocky. I overlooked trail crossing (probably looking for acorns or admiring boulders on the way) and then have to take shortcut trough some green wet stuff, but Alex was kind of satisfied with herself and that is the most important.

Classic Green Y - Splits

Saturday May 3

Event: SAXBO 08

Event: West Point A-Meet

orienteering race 1:09:49 [5] 3.8 km (18:22 / km) +155m 15:16 / km
shoes: orient w/spikes
West Point, Green Y
Because we need it split times and because my physic is really bad I went for green. It was fine. I didn't make my usual big errors, just some bad choices, but i was careful to know where I'm all time. So a little bit slow, but that was OK. No injuries! No rain while running, only wet.
orienteering race 26:36 [5] 2.5 km (10:38 / km) +60m 9:30 / km
shoes: GT
West Point, Sprint
big error on #6, otherwise OK ; just short of breath.

Great attendance of Czech, it was nice to talk not only about orienteering in my language.

Sprint O/Br/G - Splits
