Orienteering 1:32:00 [4] *** 6.7 km (13:44 / km)
16c slept:8.5 shoes: Runners

Sunday event at Campbell Park. Red 2 - 6.7km. realllyyyy really steep. and thick. for the first half. then the second half was flat and open.

It took a long time but the navigation was ok for the most part..i was hesitant on #7 as it was pretty vague (and steep and thick). The bit through the erosion gullies was a bit sloppy in places - esp. #11. Concentrate more, verbalise when you're tired.

25.1km this week! Yayyy, and not feeling too tired or anything.

Running 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:9.0 (sick) shoes: Runners

3km run on the Pinnacle

I started off ok, then in the middle i got miinor stitch but i could run through it! so an improvement on last time, then it completely went away, then came back on the other side. Then it COMPLETEly went away, and the last 500m were ridiculously easy. My breathing wasn't even faster than usual at the end. Peculiar.

I ran my 3km course backwards again, as there is more uphill and i have to concentrate more to make sure i'm going the right way. The uphill really screwed my quads..they went concrete/jelly. But they're fine now.

Afterwards I stretched and my muscles felt all nice and content.

I was a bit sick today; headache, sore muscles and my glands were up again.

Strength (Crunches) 5:00 [3]
slept:8.0 shoes: bare feet

2 X 40 Crunches

In the hope that strenghtening my stomach muscles will reduce incidences of stitch.

Running (slow) 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:8.5 shoes: Runners

2 X 3km jogs with about 5 minute break inbetween.

(disregard time. i didn't time myself)

1. COLD! freezing today so asthma was a problem at the beginning, took me a while to get into a rhythm. Slowllyyy but ok until i got stitch - arrrr. Had to walk for a bit then jogged slowly again..

in the middle i stretched and hypothesised that the first 3km was a warm up and theoretically i shouldn't get stitch in the second 3km...

2. I decided to run my course backwards for a change. It was harder as there was more uphill, and i got stitch anyway! not on the hills though. jogged slowly.

Stretched legs and arms.

I didn't eat anything after lunch and i started running at about 3:30pm. Arr why stitch?

I think I need to get new runners - these ones are a bit illfitting and not supportive.

slept:7.5 weight:52.6kg (rest day)

Too lazy/tired to get up for a run this morning. And tuesday is the craziness busy day - school, must, violin, singing, choir. So i only just got home. No training tomorrow so I shall go for a long (ish) run in the afternoon. yayyy sleep in until 7am.

Running long 38:29 [3] 6.0 km (6:25 / km)
slept:6.5 weight:23.8kg shoes: Runners

6km run on tracks at The Pinnacle. Longer than I'm used to, so at three km my muscles started concreteing. I got stitch three times (errr.) and i had to stop to try and work it out. Annoying. Most of it was pretty good, especially the last km on both laps. No food or drink beforehand. The sunrise was very pretty, and it was suprisingly not very cold.

Ballet 1:30:00 [2]
slept:6.5 weight:52.6kg (injured) shoes: Ballet shoes

Ballet class. Pretty good, muscles only a little tight from this morning. sore muscle (?) at the base of quads.
