Saturday event at Mt. Rogers. I didn't concentrate at the start!! which meant that i ran in the wrong direction at the start, having orientated my map south......

my map just wasn't quite orientated properly all the way until 3, when i completely screwed it up because of orientation...why? not concentrating. why? didn't focus before starting. why? i'm not sure....

so i relocated and got to 3 fine, and from there on realised something was wrong and i needed to stop and focus and make sure navigation was good.

and it was....the rest was fine. not particularly fast. or extra accurate. but pretty good.

would have been swimming but i had imo's birthday party!! and so i couldn't get all wet and slimy for that. tomorrow is orienteering, as is sunday, so i shall repay myself in exercise.

A lap around the pinnacle on my brothers (HORRIFIC) bike. It has no gears!!! well it does, but it is very tempremental and decided not to engage them today! that's why my ride was so short, because it was on the hardest-to-pedal one. made hills interesting.

grrrr. i was going to go round the pinnacle 3 or 4 times. sillyhead bike. and my bike was mysteriously missing.

Swam 16 laps at cisac. I would have done more but rohan had to go and he was the one transporting me. swimming was very fun and a good muscley workey outy. i did two breastroke then two backstroke then two breastroke then two freestyle then two breastroke then two kicking on my back then one breastroke then one backstroke then one freestyle then one breastroke.

my neck is really sore this morning though. my other muscles don't hurt though. i thought my arms might.

i'm afraid my technique is terrible though.

Horrific lack of training!! Busyness ends now and intense training scheme begins! Tomorrow I WILL go for a run, possibly 6km in the afternoon.
