Saturday event at Mt. Rogers. I didn't concentrate at the start!! which meant that i ran in the wrong direction at the start, having orientated my map south......
my map just wasn't quite orientated properly all the way until 3, when i completely screwed it up because of orientation...why? not concentrating. why? didn't focus before starting. why? i'm not sure....
so i relocated and got to 3 fine, and from there on realised something was wrong and i needed to stop and focus and make sure navigation was good.
and it was....the rest was fine. not particularly fast. or extra accurate. but pretty good.
