orienteering 33:00 [3]
Control pick on the sexiest area in the world ever (southern part only). Was raining so hard to get completely intothe map as couldnt use magnifier properly. Steady running and no mistakes.
running 15:00 [5]
10x1min with 30sec rec up the track in the centre of the area.
orienteering 15:00 [2]
Bit of shadowing, used it as a relocation exercise.

Saturday Jan 12

orienteering 1:04:00 [2]
Trains on Ogden Water. Failure to procure another map from the visitor centre meant we improvised using a badge event map from 2002. Worringly i remembered quite a lot of the course, which makes me think im really rather anal. Ran it backwards and at an easy pace. Everything seemed to come up rather quickly but the whole running in a forest/reading a map thing felt quite normal, which is a good sign. Nice area.

Thursday Jan 10

running 40:00 [2]
Felt up for a run so went for a wee potter around Luddenden's back passages. Legs ok, have been fairly wrecked the past two days so couldnt be arsed doing anything.

Monday Jan 7

running 1:49:00 [3]
Up onto Midgley moor, along to the golf course, down the valley clippping the edge of Mytholmroyd, up the other side to Stoodley and back along the canal. Tired legs...
