running 15:00 [3]
Warm up/down
orienteering 1:22:00 [5]
Bigland Badge event. Hit the first one well and also spiked no.2 but then got confused, chose to misread my control codes and think it wasnt mine. 3mins later i appeared back at a rather familar looking control, swore, punched it and ran off. Was going well until missing at the end of a long leg and faffing about within 10metres of the knoll but on 1 line of crags too far down. 1.30min lost. Caught Andy L at no.15 who had got past me for 2mins during my brain failure moment at no.2. Led him to the next one but figured i may as well try and get away from him over the last part of the course so took different routes which turned out to be just slower so lost more time to him. Was worth a try. Mostly very good, cant believe i misread codes at no.2, ive never done that before, what a numpty.

Saturday Apr 26

running 1:07:00 [2]
Midgley Moor via the canal. A proper summers day and some nice company. All in all rather marvellous.

Thursday Apr 24

running 43:00 [3]
Warm up around Penistone Hill and a warm down to the Bronte waterfalls and back.
running 22:00 [4]
Foxdals 60x30x15. It was another cracking evening but my legs were filled with sand and struggled to move at all. Gave it as much welly as i could but too much time on feet today methinks. Why do the colours on my log keep randomly changing? Very odd.

Wednesday Apr 23

Circuits 35:00 [2]
Group circuit session after work with the Physio team at Airedale. Did it more for team bonding and general banter then in the expectation it would be a decent session but there were loads of plyometric exercises and i sweated lots.
running 58:00 [2]
Run after circuits from Airedale onto Steeton Moor (which is not really a moor). Too many stop-starts as was trying to map read a route around but the footpaths werent clear on the ground and i prob did some trespassing. Wont bother with the route again but it was worth a try.

Tuesday Apr 22

running 45:00 [3]
Warm up around the course and gentle warm down whilst having some chat.
running 17:00 [5]
Bunny run at Penistone Hill near Howarth on a lovely warm summery type evening. A lot of fun. Ran bloody hard and was nearly sick afterwards. Felt really good on the hills and not so bad on the flat. Got a free creme egg when entering and won a full sized maltesers easter egg so probably made a profit as it was only £2 to enter. Bonus.

Monday Apr 21

Free weights-core stability 25:00 [2]
