Sunday Jun 1

running 10:00 [2]
Warm up/down.
running 19:00 [5]
Laycock fell race. Didnt see anyone i recognised on the start line so thought i might be in with a chance as i felt pretty good. Set off very hard and got a gap over the rest. Turnaround point came alot sooner than i'd anticipated and couldnt see anyone in pursuit. Kept pushing hard all the way back as didnt know how far behind they were. Won a lot of prizes and also got the record as it was a new course. Bonus.
running 1:56:00 [3]
Ran back from Laycock a similar route to when i ran back from Airedale but avoided the tussocks on Oxenhope moor this time and also came all the way back to Luddendenfoot rather than cutting down to Mytholmroyd. Had a very pleasant run until just near the end when i got attacked by a greyhound so i told it to fck off and unclipped my bumbag to use as a weapon and it got the idea and left me alone.

running 1:05:00 [2]
Gentle pace up the canal, up the hill to Scotland quarries, round the moor for a while including lots of terrain running. Should probably have run faster but was feeling the usual saturday sleepy tiredness so just enjoyed myself in the warm sunshine.

Friday May 30

running 1:01:00 [3]
Traditional Midgely Moor route including some terrain running and a longer loop.

Thursday May 29

running 39:00 [3]
Warm up to the bottom of the hill where the race starts, back from Crow Hill through the old town.
running 30:00 [4]
Foxdals on the moor 1 min on 30 sec rec x 20. Very sleepy beforehand but ok once going.

Wednesday May 28

running 17:00 [3]
Warm up and down.
orienteering 43:00 [3]
Evening event at Far Isle Farm. Course was a window event with only a tiny bit of map around the control. Predictably i screwed the first 3 controls since i rely on near constant map contact and not running on direction alone. Got it together after that and was pretty clean through the rest. Quite a steep, rough area with some nice bits.

Tuesday May 27

Free weights-core stability 20:00 [2]
New placement = v tired and no time

Monday May 26

running 1:34:00 [3]
Midgley moor-Sheepstones trig-Wicken Hill-Mytholmroyd-Erringdon moor-down a valley-up a valley. Quite a lot of climb.
