| Down the canal, up through the woods onto the moor, along to Tom Tittiman which is where the o map starts. Back afterwards along the same route, felt strong all the way to the end. |

| Planned a course on the open access moorland bit of the Castle Carr map. Put some tapes out which someone else collected in later. Mixture of medium and long legs. Some rough terrain but moved through it well and hit everything. It was quite wild and desolate with gale force winds and rain later on. |

| Warm up down the canal, started the intervals at the bottom of the climb of Wadsworth bank, finished them on the moor near Sheepstones trig after looping around Crow Hill. Low cloud on top with reduced visability. Boshed it straight through the deep heather on the way back as i felt so good, non of that weedy path running malarky. |

| Down the back passage (which could be a euphemism but in reality is a small path through the woods out the back of the house), through Luddenden, climbed up through the fields via the fell race route and did a loop on the moor, back down the canal (definitely not a euphemism). Got rained on the entire time which confused me somewhat as its been such lovely weather recently. |

| Went out down the canal to Mytholmroyd then up Wadsworth bank fields where about a million race routes seem to go, through the gorse slopes up to Sheepstones trig, loop around on the moor and back via Scotland quarries. Had some foxdals planned but after a hard day at work my blood sugar went a bit haywire and didnt think it was wise to push it. Rest of me was fine though. |

| Went out the back way and up my favourite path, up the hill to a farm where i met a friendly dog and then back down to the path behind the church in the village and home. Legs felt good for having a break from racing, proper boshed it up the hills. |
