running 35:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:00 / km) +60m 4:48 / km

Wu/Wd. Had a warm down up the Auld Lang Syne route and watched the orienteers.

orienteering 1:10:00 [4] 9.7 km (7:13 / km) +300m 6:15 / km

Haworth Moor/Penistone Hill. Started off interesting in the quarried bits, turned into a fell race including some horrendous Trossoch like heather/tussocks which i had a sneaky walk/stagger on. Then one more interesting control and finish. Really enjoyed orienteering on an area ive only ever run on before. Legs felt like they had a race in them and so not too quick but only normal tired so its all good. Not much sleep last night due to chav related 'music' coming from downstairs.

orienteering 34:00 [4] 4.8 km (7:05 / km) +140m 6:11 / km

Night O at Ogden. Running up the hill to no.1 i suddenly realised i was RUNNING up the hill to be no.1 and thought crikey this is the first time in 8 months i havent felt like i wanted to sit down and sleep when trying to run hard. So i took advantage of it and nailed it.Nav is so much easier when your not feeling shite. Technically was smooth and lost prob 1min in total, ace fun razzing it round in the dark in a nice forest.

running 45:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:38 / km) +340m 4:38 / km

Went on a train yesterday, that'll be the last time for a while, i couldnt believe how noisy, smelly, crowded and late it was, and expensive, at least twice as pricey as driving. Its no wonder no-one uses public transport in this country. If Gordon Brown sees this: sort it out. After fixing the economy obviously.
