MTB 3:16:00 [3] 35.9 km (5:28 / km) +789m 4:55 / km

Welborough descent loop from pub. 2 solid 4K climbs stitched me up but descent was most fun I’ve ever had on a MTB. 18k of descending !

MTB 2:29:00 [4] 22.8 km (6:32 / km) +849m 5:31 / km

Start of muppet big day out. Climbed up to start of Rattler range walk from derby via long black shadows. Solid start chasing Stevie !

Walk 7:40:00 [3] 28.0 km (16:26 / km) +666m 14:41 / km

From bikes into Rattler Range walk, taped route was a bit confusing but managed to find our way to Ralph Falls. Myrtle forest was very nice and caches gorge was also pretty spectacular. Hear certainly knocked us around.

MTB 2:20:00 [3] 22.0 km (6:22 / km) +261m 6:00 / km

From Rattler Range down to derby via Atlas. Was feeling pretty knackered by this stage and had run out of water. Found a random drink bottle on track half way down which saved me. Got back to Derby and decided pizza was a good option as Dtevie feeling bit heat stroked. Good call and slept very well. Good quality session.

New bike day ! Two climbs up main Stubbs road then back for a loop of Stubbs. Slightly bigger frame is going to take some getting used to, but very smooth indeed.
