Wednesday Dec 26

Road cycling 1:27:00 [4]43 km (2:01 / km) +275m 1:58 / km
A lot less windy than Christmas Eve, so time-trialled aerodrome again in 2:50. Pushed it pretty hard to ge to WIM's Score event. Very disappointed to get a puncture just after I started my route back, though was good to catch up with Em. Good few day's training at home, nice to get out in the daylight! R. elbow still giving me gip.

Tuesday Dec 25

Road cycling 1:09:00 [4]31 km (2:14 / km) +345m 2:07 / km
A bit wet, but good to get out on Christmas Day. Struggled to keep pace with Mark uphills, but was faster on the winding descents and short uphills. Lower back still pretty sore. R. elbow a bit sore after 45 mins.

Monday Dec 24

Road cycling 3:00:00 [4]86.5 km (2:05 / km) +660m 2:00 / km
Rode pretty hard throughout, had a couple of hazy sections in the middle as hadn't had any lunch. Took hills pretty hard, but lower back was pretty sore throughout ride. Need to fit bottle cages on. Time-trialled aerodrome in 3:40 but was pretty windy all of the ride. R. elbow was quite sore, especially when straightening arm.

Sunday Dec 23

MTBO race 1:58:57 [5]25 km (4:45 / km)
BAOC MTBO @ Bordon Heaths, Woolmer and Longmoor. Started well, got into map quite quickly, bit of a dodgy middle section where wasn't planning ahead. Mud got into mechanism late on which caused much anguish as chain kept sucking up, and completely messed up route to finish which almost cost me the race. Good to be back on mountain bike again.
