First evening training run for a few months now. Felt great to be out, knee was fine for nearly the whole run, though i could feel my ITB and quad were tight, but i'll take that at the moment.

Having an easy week and wasn't going to do anything today but it was a lovely day so when Issy asked if i wanted to go out for a ride i jumped at the chance. Went at an easy pace (for me) which i was able to chat the whole way round. Put a couple of efforts in on the big climbs, but just glad i went out otherwise i'd have missed the sunshine!

Tuesday Feb 5

Fell running 48:30 [2]6.2 km (7:49 / km) +270m 6:25 / km
ahr:130 max:154
Work was flooded from burst water mains so took the afternoon off to go for a run with Andy. It turned out he wasn't quite as fast on the fells as he was on the flat so we walked quite a lot of the uphills, and the flat wasn't too fast either. I decided to try do some fast descending to try my knee out. Was fine for the first 30 mins but i could feel my ITB tightening up after that. Weather was shocking, got rather cold as i wasn't moving as fast as i'd have liked, but nice to get out on the fells when i should have been at work :)
