Road cycling 3:02:19 intensity: (5:35 @1) + (19:05 @2) + (1:29:25 @3) + (1:07:15 @4) + (59 @5) 91.5 km (30.1 kph) +1150m

Headed over to Skipton and Gargrave and returned via Burnsall and Ilkley. Session was split into 3 parts, 1 in each hour.

1. 5x 10sec sprints
2. 2x 8min @Z4
3. 1x 20min @Z3

Felt really good during the ride, and was moving well on the non-effort parts of the ride, including a solid effort on the climb out of Burnsall.

Road cycling 2:14:49 intensity: (6:31 @1) + (18:02 @2) + (1:04:18 @3) + (42:53 @4) + (3:05 @5) 61.74 km (27.5 kph) +691m
ahr:132 max:165 shoes: Specialized Tarmac Expert

Good session of 2x 20min @Z3/4 efforts, with an added effort up Creskeld Lane for SOTW (new PB - 4.07, 12 secs quicker than last week, helped by a tailwind). Finished the 2nd effort up Old Pool Bank and was only 1sec off my PB up there. Rode down into Otley and on the road out to Askwith with Jonny Brownlee who was out for a steady ride.

Road cycling 2:09:06 intensity: (5:59 @1) + (20:49 @2) + (59:34 @3) + (42:34 @4) + (10 @5) 57.55 km (26.7 kph) +579m

Dropped Brontë at a friend's house in Headingley and headed out East. Rode hard whenever I could, predominantly into a headwind and any short rises, but lacking the big hills to get much more out of the session.

Turbo trainer 1:42:17 intensity: (46 @1) + (44:09 @2) + (26:27 @3) + (15:49 @4) + (15:06 @5) 45.0 km (26.4 kph)
ahr:130 max:167 shoes: Specialized Tarmac Expert

Turbo session as massive hailstorm on the way home had covered the surrounding area with an unrideable (road) surface. Session was 3x10mins alternating 1min@Z5/1min@Z3. Glad I haven't had to do much turbo this year as that was a shock to the system!
