Training very similar to Matts 2 weeks ago, sort of like team persuit in pairs, thanks to ACW this time. Went with Tim. I was feeling awesome and enjoying the running with the other guys, but started dropping Tim, oops. I think Im done with training on this map to improve my orienteering, just use it for terrain running now.

Putting out controls for training, then going back out to move the ones that I knew I'd put in the wrong place. Took the tracks off the map for training today, tried to do most of my navigation using this map but took one with tracks just to check some.

Last of the street races at uni this week. Lots of fun. Was running well, thigh didnt hurt much at all. Got all of the controls but forgot to write down 2 dumb, and I pride myself in never mispunching! Hopefully thats the only time I do it.

Really good training tonight. Pairs exercise which involved some relocation and I tried to get some good control flow going. Tim had a few issues which slowed us down a lot.

Karepiro Beach. Wasnt really too fussed about this race. Tough physically and a dumb mistake on 5 from not concentrating I think

Aramiro. Awesome forest.So stoked with my run. Spiked all the first ones, a little rough through the middle but was feeling really on top of my navigation.

First race of waitangi on airport in Taupo. Good run until big balls up on 9 by following Carsten. Not my favourite terrain, should have worn running shoes feet and hip flexor pretty sore.

Night Relays. Ran 1st leg for our 3 man team in the PAPO australia challenge. Love running at night. Took a mean route choice to number 2 to take a big lead but stuffed 4 then ran with Jo, La and Anna until they ditched me in the blackberry. Lots of mistakes after the spectator.
