Was going to go for a mtb but I think it might be broken :( will get Andrew to have a proper look at it today. Might be in a bit of trouble if I have actually cracked the link. Not sure if you can buy them anymore.

So went out on the road bike instead but forgot to take puncture stuff. Got flat tire and had to get Tane to come rescue me after slow progress along the summit road. Thanks Tane.

Not a good day for the bikes.

No mates Monday run. Found the new mtb track on Montgomery Spur that I had heard rumors about. Annoying and loopy for running but should be fun for riding once they finish building it.

Up to summit of te ao whakere and back down to the car. Bit of a snow wallow most of the way but some nicer bits along the ridge. Sweet views and a nice day.

Good to get a bit of training in with a heavyish pack.

Up to camp at 1900 from jordan stream. Thick cloud until about 1600 led to some interesting route choice.

Hill intervals with Tane and Dave. Well not actually with Tane, he was well ahead.

Didn't actually seem to be going very fast. I think this session would be better if you did it a few times or maybe if you weren't feeling pretty smashed to begin with. Feel like I've been doing some training.

Up to the rogaine. Got a fair way up the hill and realised I had forgotten underwear. Then had a small crash on a stupid muddy section. Only just made to the rogaine in time to get changed. No time to make a proper plan let alone mark it on the map. This led to chaos later....

Rogaine with 50%Greig.

Started off well going pretty quick but was feeling good. Then a bit of miscommunication and I head off up the spur while Greig headed down. After not being able to find him I decided I would sit and wait at 44. He never did show up. Annoying because I wanted this to be a good hard 2hr run.
