Mountain Biking 4:00:00 [3]

Ride with Cris and Em from 12mile. Phoenix - 7 mile - gold digger - moke lake - Ben Lomond Saddle - awesome tracks down the mountain - bike park - Pie.

Chris claimed this is the best ride in NZ. It was pretty awesome. Really enjoyed the golddigger climb and the last 1/3 of the climb up to the Saddle. Legs still feeling a bit tired from the tramp I think.

Maybe about 4hrs of riding with lots of relaxing.

Mountain Biking 1:30:00 [3]

Quick ride with Cris and Chris in QT. Managed to keep up with the guys pretty well although Chris said he was feeling very tired.

Paddling (other) 3:00:00 [1]

A beautiful morning paddle to Alabaster Hut down the Pyke and across lake Alabaster. The single boat seemed to go much better on the lake when there was no wind and I was able to keep up fine.

Tramping 4:00:00 [1]

Walk out from Alabaster hut. Ate the very last scraps of peanut butter and cracker at Hidden Falls hut meaning the total food I had left at the end was 6 tea bags. Not bad.

Big Bay to the Pyke for the second time.

Paddling (other) (Pack raft) 2:00:00 [1]

An easy paddle down the Pyke to Olivine hut for the earliest stop for the trip (before 6!). The sun was out again and things were looking up.

Tramping 7:00:00 [1]

Gorge River to Big Bay. Much nicer section of coast today with less horrible cannonball boulders, more house boulders.

Tramping 6:00:00 [1]

From Barn Bay to Gorge River. Ferry across two the Hope and Gorge using the packraft which were up with all the rain last night.
