Mountain Biking race 4:00:00 [4] 67.0 km (3:35 / km)

St James duathalon thing. Was originally intending to ride the 100k Epic but because of the river the course was changed to pretty similar to this one so I switched to the duathalon.

Really enjoyed this ride and felt really good riding until about 55km maybe.

Run race 1:50:00 [3] 17.0 km (6:28 / km)

Hadn't planned on doing this and the aim of today was to go as hard as possible on the bike so wasn't really in the mood for running after achieving that goal. Shuffled around the boring course. A bit dissapointed with myself afterwards for not trying a bit harder.

Lazily missed kayaking today and Tuesday but I just dont seem to be able to get to bed/sleep at a reasonable hour at the moment. Maybe next week.

Messed around with the suspension so went for a ride to make sure it was OK. Started pissing down just as I got the top of Vic Park making things a bit slippery.

Tims rogaine at Horotane. Nigel. Started off quite fast and feeling good but then felt really awful after about 30min and had to make a few unplanned toilet stops for the rest of the course. Almost called it quits before I went up the hill but figured it would be mainly walking from then on so continued. Felt really bad again for the last 20min or so and missed a 50 that I should have got.

5k. Whew its been awhile since Ive done one of these (or actually any fast flat road running or fast running in general). It showed. Hopefully I can be faster in the coming weeks. Feels like good training anyway as long as I dont break myself.

Cruising back to the car via the low traverse to avoid horrid wind. Explored some fun patches of bush and a nice little gorge.
