Absolute Wilderness adventure race with Swordfox (Aaron, Brent and Ash).

Started off in the third raft and made ok progress down the river. Finished just behind Yealands. Quick transition and out just in front of them.

Trek was good, heavy rain and rivers flooding rapidly. Lots of road/track running and a bit of suffering from me. Down to the packraft with a 45minish lead on Yealands.

Packraft Ahura river - big and brown and boily. Nervous. Road run back to bikes. All other teams not allowed on river. Fair enough.

Bike to the finish on roads due to rivers flooding. Slick operation pace line the whole way. Felt strong but didnt pull a turn.

Good hit out. Bring on GZ. Aaron was an awesome super sub. Fitted in perfect. Hope he doesn't end up in Yealands now....
